Opening and closing time of the temple
Kedarnath yatra is open from starting of the may month to the end of October. The rest of the month is not suitable for trekking either the kapat (Doors)of the temple is not open in these months. The temple remains closed in the winter season for about 6 months.
In 2021, the temple will be closed on the 6th of November, the day of the Bhai Dooj.

By Train-At a distance of 228 km Rishikesh is the only nearest railway station.
