Opening and closing times of the temple

Kedarnath yatra is open from starting of the may month to the end of October. The rest of the month is not suitable for trekking either the kapaat (Doors)of the temple is not open during these months. The temple remains closed in the winter season for about 6 months.

In 2021, the temple will be closed on the 6th of November, the day of the Bhai Dooj.
