Heritage sites to Andaman Nicobar
The cellular jail was constructed in 1906. It is also known as Kala Pani. British soldiers used to keep prisoners and freedom fighters in this jail. It is called the punishment of Kala Pani because no one could run away from this island due to the sea around it.
There is also a museum here, where the memories of all those freedom fighters have been kept alive. Their things and photos have been saved safely.
