Great Himalayan National park

Park falls in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. The park was established in 1984 and had an area of 754.5 sq km. This is the most special travel destination. It is 60Km from Kullu and located in the Seraj Forest Division. This has been announced as a UNESCO world heritage site since (2014). There are 241 species of mammals, 218 species of fish, 74 species of amphibians, 832 species of plants, 149 species of reptiles, and 528 species of birds.No roads directly connect to the park boundary. To explore the Great Himalayan National Park, trekking is the only way.

Do you like adventure? If yes, you can participate in activities like fishing, climbing, river crossing, rappelling, and rock climbing. It is great to visit here during April-June and September-October.

Pin Valley National Park

Pin Valley National Park is located in the Spiti Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. This national park is situated in the cold desert area. The park was declared a national park in 1987. The park area is 675 Sq Km (Core zone) and 1150 Sq Km (Buffer Zone). Snow Leopard is an important resident of the park.

This park is a natural habitat for many endangered animals. It is very valuable for pharmacists because different types of medicinal herbs and species are available. Siberian ibex, red fox, Chukor, golden eagle, raven, griffon, weasel, and marten are the point of attraction. One of the suitable ways to stay there is Bunkers. The Wildlife authorities have constructed bunkers that are readily available. You can enjoy it by going camping in pin valley National Park. Best to visit here from July to October.

Inderkilla National Park

This park is located in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh and is famous as “The End of the Habitable World.”The park is Established in 2010 and has an area of 104 sq. Km. This park has several species of flora and fauna. The moist temperature is a pleasure, and the western coniferous forest is breathtaking. You will enjoy seeing Deer, Mountain goats, ibex, and you can participate in various winter sports camping, trekking, snowboarding, heli-skiing, bird watching, mountaineering. Hampta valley trek is a famous track in this region. It is a heaven for all visitors who love nature, animals, and birds.

Kheerganga National Park

Kheerganga National Park is also located in the Kullu. This park is famous for being the most beautiful part of India, and it was established in 2010. Visit between April and June and September and November for the best weather. On the top of the trail, you can look at exotic locations, weather, and rich flora and fauna. Kheerganga is the nearest small village, full of exciting things. Trekking is the most amazing experience here. The total area of this park is 710 sq km.

Simbalbara National Park

Simbalbara National Park is known as the Col.Sher Jung National Park. National Park is located in Paonta Valley of Sirmour District, Himachal Pradesh.

It is sharing its boundary with Haryana. In starting, it was a wildlife Sanctuary, but later it was converted into a National park. The total area of Simbalbara National Park is 27.88 sq km. Great times to travel is October and November.

Kibber wildlife Sanctuary

Kibber wildlife sanctuary is located in the higher region of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh. Built in 1992, it is famous for snow leopards. The main fact is that Kibber is the only cold desert wildlife sanctuary in the country. It remains isolated for almost 4-5 months due to snow and weather condition.

I think May-July is the best time to travel. Kibber village is famous among people for its highest altitude in Himachal Pradesh. The total area is 2220.12 sq. km.

Bandli Sanctuary

This beautiful sanctuary is located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. It is seven kilometers from Sunder Nagar town. The rare Snow leopard is the main attraction of this sanctuary. Himalayan black bear, Barking Deer, Rhesus Macaque, and Indian here are also attractive things to see. Bandli Sanctuary has a coverage area of 32.11 sq km.  It is best to visit here from May to October.

Chail Sanctuary

Chail Sanctuary is located in the dense forest of Oak and Pine. It is a hill station near Shimla with beautiful natural weather. Sambar, goral, cheer pheasants are the main species of Chail. Mainly mammals are the attractions of this sanctuary. large mammals include rhesus macaque, leopards, Crested porcupine. The area is 16 square feet that established in the year of 1976.

Khokhan wildlife sanctuary

This sanctuary is located near Kullu. It is 19 Km from the main town of Kullu. This sanctuary is a paradise for mammals and reptiles. Himalayan Black bear Is the main attraction of Khokhan Sanctuary. The total area of this sanctuary is 14.94 sq km. You can enjoy various sightseeing in Kullu valley.

Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary

This sanctuary is located in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The area of this sanctuary is 30.69 sq km. There are trekking trails that definitely take your experience to the next level. September to May is the best time to travel here.
